Sana Waqar

I'm an international medical graduate and small business owner, and I have valuable public audit experience.

I'm a mom of two, a small-business owner, and your Ward 2 neighbour — with a background in medicine and public auditing.

Growth is coming. Let's make sure it fits. Keeping our trees, our walkable streets and the character that makes Ward 2 feel like home.

Town spending should be clear to anyone who reads the budget. I will ask the hard questions and make sure every dollar has a job — and a reason.

I want a council that lives within its means, invests wisely, and communicates clearly.

We deserve roads that don't frustrate us, safer streets for everyone, and transit that actually goes where we need it.

16-Mile Creek, Tannery Park, the lakefront — these are why we love it here. I'll fight to keep them green, open, and ours.

I respect the service of past councillors, but I believe Ward 2 is ready for a new voice

You deserve to know how your councillor is voting and why.

Whether you usually vote Conservative, Liberal, or something else, if you care about safe neighbourhoods, responsible spending, sustainable growth and a welcoming, livable community, I want to earn your support.
